Ventura Marathon and Half Marathon Training Programs


Ventura Marathon Training Program

The Ventura Running Club will be offering a 16 week training program for this year's Ventura Marathon and Half Marathon on February 26th! The program starts on November 5th although you can join in at any point.

The program will include:

- 2 supported runs. We will set up water refill stations for you so you do not have to carry as much.

- Weekly group runs on Saturday mornings. These are a simple meet up run Saturday mornings at 7:00 am at the base of the Ventura Pier. 

- On-Line General Training Plan (various levels to choose from.) Your training schedule will be provided online through


The cost is $59 and includes a free fully sublimated lightweight Fastish tech shirt (these will arrive in December or January.)


Full Marathon Program - Be able to comfortably run 8 miles before early November.

1/2 Marathon Program - Be able to comfortably run 5 miles before early November.

Galloway Group

The Galloway Run/Walk/Run Training Program is open to anyone who is interested in fulfilling a lifetime goal: of running a 5k, half marathon, or marathon.
