Saturday


Parking for Saturday's Packet Pick-Up is in Downtown Ventura - We recommend the free parking structure located at 522 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA 93001 (On Santa Clara St between California and Chestnut.) There are lots of free parking Downtown and some paid parking options. To view a map of Downtown Ventura parking please click HERE.


We are really excited about this year's packet pick-up location. It is in the heart of Downtown Ventura which features amazing restaurants and shopping.


Sunday


All Shuttle Pick Ups are all at the Ventura County Fair Grounds 10 W Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001

You can pay $10 (cash or credit card) to park at the Fairgrounds or you can park downtown for free and walk to the shuttle pick up on Harbor Blvd on the at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.


Race Morning Packet Pick Up is located at your respective start lines. Please note for the half and full marathons there is a $20 fee to pick up on race morning - http://www.venturamarathon.com/runners-resources/race-day-packet-pickup


Spectator Parking


The finish line is in Downtown Ventura in front of Mission Park. Full Marathon


Full Marathon Shuttles - The full marathon shuttles will leave for the start line at 4:30am. Please arrive by 4:20am. Dress Warm - we have gear check or you can wear and leave clothes you wish to donate (we will donate them). It will be really cold at the start. Layer Layer Layer. Make sure you get on the correct shuttle for your start line. There will be signs taped to the front windows of the buses indicating which start line they are going to.


Parking at the Full Marathon Start - There is no official parking at the marathon start line and there are no shuttles that go back to the marathon start. However, you can find parking off the roads on nearby streets where legally marked. Please note you cannot park on McNell between Reeves Rd and Grand Ave. 


Drop Offs at the Full Marathon Start - Drop-offs are allowed at the NE corner of Grand Ave and McNell (the participant(s) will then walk down McNell to the start. Please note that McNell will be closed between Grand Ave and Reeves Rd. This is the most convenient race strategy if you have someone willing to drop you off. It will still be dark so pay attention to vehicles and surroundings.



Half Marathon


Half Marathon Shuttles - Half marathon shuttles will leave for the start line at 4:30am and 5:30am. Drop Offs at the Half Marathon Start - Drop offs are allowed at the start line. You can get dropped off at the half start. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the race start so you don't feel rushed and in case there are delays. Please review the drop off area on the map at the bottom of this page.

FROM VENTURA AREA

  1. Head North on Hwy 33 towards Ojai
  2. Take a Slight Right on Hwy 150 (Vons will be on your left hand side)
  3. Turn Left on Reeves Rd 
  4. Turn Left on McAndrew Rd
  5. Turn Left on Grand Ave
  6. Athlete Drop Off will be on the Right Hand Side just before McNell Rd (keep an eye out for our Athlete Drop Off signs)


FROM SANTA PAULA AREA

  1. Head West on Hwy 150 towards Ojai
  2. Turn Right on Reeves Rd 
  3. Turn Left on McAndrew Rd
  4. Turn Left on Grand Ave
  5. Athlete Drop Off will be on the Right Hand Side just before McNell Rd (keep an eye out for our Athlete Drop Off signs)


FROM SANTA BARBARA AREA

  1. Head South on Hwy 101 towards Ventura
  2. Please note, we recommend Hwy 101 > Hwy 33 vs. Hwy 150 because Eastbound Hwy 150 will be closed at Burnham Rd 
  3. Take Hwy 33 North Exit towards Ojai 
  4. Take a Slight Right on Hwy 150 (Vons will be on your left hand side)
  5. Turn Left on Reeves Rd 
  6. Turn Left on McAndrew Rd
  7. Turn Left on Grand Ave
  8. Athlete Drop Off will be on the Right Hand Side just before McNell Rd (keep an eye out for our Athlete Drop Off signs)


Please note, there is NO PARKING in the Athlete Drop Off area. It is for drop off only.  There will be staff and volunteers monitoring this area to keep the flow of traffic moving. 


There is limited parking near the full marathon start line. There is also no return shuttle back to the start if you choose to park there. You must find your own ride back. Be sure to keep an eye out for any no parking signs. 


We recommend either taking the shuttle or getting dropped off. 


Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Please also be respectful and courteous to other drivers and runners.

  4. To Exit - Continue West on Baldwin Rd >  Left on Burnham Rd > Left on Santa Ana Rd > Left on Santa Ana Blvd


FROM VENTURA AREA

  1. Head North on Hwy 33 towards Oak View
