Refunds & Deferrals



In order to receive a refund on your 2020 Ventura registration, you must purchase race insurance during the registration process.

During the registration process, all runners are given the option to purchase race insurance through Allianz Global Assistance (AGA). If you purchased insurance you will see a separate charge on your credit card for the insurance and you will receive an email from Allianz Global Assistance with details on your coverage.

If you have purchased event registration insurance for an event and have a question or claim, please contact Allianz Global Assistance.

Deferrals to a 2021 event are not permitted. If you would like to transfer your entry to a new participant, please click HERE.


Event Cancellation

Ventura Marathon reserves the right to cancel any race due to weather, air quality or other natural factors outside of our control. In the event of a cancellation, participants will be notified via email, text and social media. A date and location will be communicated for participants to pick up their race bags, medals and t-shirts.
