VIP Packet Pickup (Sunday October 21) for marathon and half marathon participants is an additional $20 and must be selected in registration or added to your registration before 10/12. View instructions HERE. Race Day packet pickup is complimentary for 5K, Downtown Mile and Kids Run participants.

We highly encourage runners to pick up their packets the day before your race. If you’re picking up on race morning, leave plenty of time to park and check-in. It’s recommended to arrive at the venue one hour prior to your start time.

Important: A $20 fee will apply to Full & Half Marathon runners for race day pickup. If you plan to pick up race day morning, and did not sign up while registering please bring $20 cash to your start line. You will need to bring a copy of registration confirmation to get on the shuttle if you do not have your bib number. 

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, just make sure they have a copy of your ID.
Cell phone pictures will work!

Changing Distance or Transferring Your Entry to someone else?
Distance and person transfers may be done online. Online transfers close October 16 and then transfers must be done in-person at packet pickup. Learn how to transfer your registration HERE and change your distance HERE

Kids will run approximately 1K. Parents are welcome to run alongside their kids or cheer for them at the start/finish line.

Shuttles

Runners will park and board a shuttle to the start line of their race.

All Marathon Shuttles will depart between 4:45-5:00 am.
All Half Marathon Shuttles will depart between 6:00-6:15 am.

Pick Up Location: All shuttles will depart from the Ventura County Fairgrounds

NOTE: You must have your bib # or copy of registration confirmation to board your shuttle. Shuttles are not for spectators. There are no return shuttles to the start line after the event.

Finish Line: Mission Park – 185 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA
Shuttle pick up will be between 4:45-5:00a.m. at Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W Harbor Blvd., Ventura, CA 93001). You will arrive at the start line around 5:30 a.m.

Half Marathon

Start Line: Loma Drive just North oF Valley Oak Charter School – 901 El Centro St, Ojai, CA
Finish Line: Mission Park – 185 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA
Shuttle Pick-Up will be between 6:00-6:15am at the Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W Harbor Blvd., Ventura, CA 93001).

5K

Start Line & Finish Line: Mission Park – 185 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA
The 5K course will run along Main Street in Downtown Ventura

Downtown Mile

Start Line: Intersection of Hemlock St and Main St
Finish Line: Mission Park – 185 E Santa Clara St, Ventura, CA
The course is a point-to-point downhill course along Main Street in Downtown Ventura.

Parking

  1. Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W Harbor Blvd) – Parking is $5 (CASH ONLY) and first come first served. Marathon and half marathon shuttles will leave from this location.
  2. Downtown Ventura Parking – See map HERE
  3. There is incredibly limited parking at the start lines for each venue. NOTE: Vehicles cannot be left at the start lines after the start of the marathon and half marathon. There are no shuttles returning to the start after each race.

Recommended parking for the weekend is at the Ventura County Fairgrounds for $5 (cash only). There is free parking available in the surrounding areas, but you may need to spend extra time looking for spots.

It is a half mile walk from the Fairgrounds to Mission Park where the 5K will start and all races will finish. Shuttles to the Marathon and Half Marathon start lines will be picking up runners from the Fairgrounds on Harbor Blvd. just west of Shoreline Dr.

Race Day Reminders

– All bib numbers should be worn visibly on the front of runners.

– Headphones are NOT recommended. If you choose to wear headphones, please keep the volume low and always be aware of your surroundings.

– Please run no more than two across.

– Runners need their bibs or registration confirmation to board the shuttles. Shuttles are NOT available for friends and family.

Photos

SCS Photoworks will be out on the course snapping shots of LaceUp runners. Be sure to smile and then look for an email directing you to FREE photos for social media. High-resolution photos will also be available for purchase.

Photos can be viewed approximately 72 hours after the race.

We are taking over Mission Park for two days. Visit local vendors, enjoy an ice cold Sierra Nevada beer and jam out to live music at the 2018 Party in the Park. Stick around after the race and celebrate with us! Full party schedule and music can be found HERE.  

Gear Check

Gear check will be available at the marathon and half marathon start lines. Gear will be available for pickup at the expo after the race. Any clothing discarded at the start lines that is not left at gear check will NOT be transported to the expo.
